Welcome to my website. My name is Susan, and I want you to love, laugh, and learn English with me.
I can hardly believe it...I've been teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) for nearly 15 years now. It's an amazing job in which I get to meet so many interesting and cool people from all over the world. I've always enjoyed being in the classroom and helping my students face-to-face. Almost nothing makes me happier than teaching!
A couple of years ago, I started writing a book that I had been dreaming of for a long time.
My students always said my lessons were so clear, and they wished they could learn from me all the time. They often asked me for recommendations about which grammar or vocabulary books to buy in order to practice at home, but it was never easy to recommend just one perfect book.
I've heard the question: "Teacher, if I want to practice English, which websites can I go to, or which books can I get?" many, many times.
Finally, I realized: "I am the one who should write that perfect book for my students!" I started writing, and I've been working on it ever since. The great news is that I've finally finished it, and I hope to get it published soon, either with a major publishing company or on my own. Soon, you and all my students around the world will be able to get my book.
What's in my book? There are useful and clear lessons about everything you need to know in English: Vocabulary, phrasal verbs, idioms, punctuation, writing, spelling...and of course, grammar!
If you've learned English before, but you don't feel confident about your skills, it will be the perfect way for you to learn more and to perfect what you already know.
How is my book different and better than the other ones available to ESL students? It's better because it's written by an extremely experienced teacher who has spent 15 years with students just like you. I think about English and how to learn it all the time! I know which topics you need to learn, which topics you want to learn, and I know how I can teach them to you in a clear and interesting way.
I give you examples and situations that make each lesson simple and easy to remember. I make learning English fun...I promise!
Today, I'm so proud to finally launch my website, "Learn English with Susan." You'll be able to get many of my useful lessons right here, for free, before I publish my book.
